What about learning to snowboard at Ski Dubai mine did that the first summer we had to stay here. This Easter mine will be revising for GCSE's and A' levels both in the their final years, but fitting in seeing their friends and relaxation too.

work experience? Ask other parents, maybe you could all get together and organise a course, some sort of outward bound type thing with no ipods/phones/bb etc ;-) try asking Desert Rangers or Absolute Adventures. Les Atalier des Chefs are advertising for cookery courses. DUCTAC maybe offering something. However IMHO I do think she needs some downtime.

Its not a low opinion but a fact. Most kids who get into trouble are either because they have not much to do in their spare time. I requested for assistance and suggestions. Thank you.

Idle mind is a devils workshop :) I am at work and so is my husband. 9-10 hours without supervision leaves her no other choice than getting into trouble. wow, why do you have such a low opinion of her ??

I like the volunteering thing but it's a holiday - why can't she just chill out and do whatever she wants ? They work hard enough during term time here with very little free time..isn't it meant to be a break ?
