There has been loads in the media about Iran's reaction, you just have to LOOK!
For ME news look at Al Jazerra & their live blog on a country, Google the question in news and loads will come up.
The answer is they are playing games and trying to exacerbate a situation into a religious one.
They recalled their ambassador to Bahrain, and have given hints that if the "war" against the Shia in Bahrain doesn't stop and the GCC (AKA Sunni forces) aren't removed then they will intervene.....
UAE and IRan are in the midst of a long running dispute re: some islands that Iran have occupied, so no love lost there....
Have also heard some rumblings that Iraq is also not best pleased but as they have a US puppet regime....

But all I've heard are vague statement like - "meddling in neighbouring countries affairs", or the "threat of Irans reaction". Nothing really actually articulated from Tehran.
How are they meddling? And what are their real threats? OK, they're against the Gulf military presence in Bahrain, but have they actually said what they're prepared to do about it? Or anything else?
PS, thanks for the link.
In the light of all the current turmoil, I find it strange that I personally have seen nothing in the way of a reaction from Iran. Surely the situation in Bahrain and presumably other places must be inflammatory to them.
I was wondering if the lack of "feedback" was due to media censorship here, and whether any of our Persian ladies have any information on how the authorities in Iran and reacting right now.
Anyone?
