we use Gargash - Lloyd - really helpful - the credit card is for the booking and they swipe it for keeping the details should anything happen - with gargash you can pay by debit card we did as we generally dont use credit cards - we hire a hyundai touscon.. i think its called - great car 3000 a month gargash are across from the Diamond Mall in Barsha tel +971 4 340 5155

It was the big branch on Airport Road, we don't have a credit card and i know my husband hired from there a few months back

My experience has been credit cards only...we used DiamondLease in the Habtoor Grand Marina and weren't warned, so we didn't have space on our only card for the first months payment and the deposit. We had cash in hand and a debit card but they would not accept it. I would call popular companies to inquire before you decide on a car.
