Dropped off my 3 yr old DS for his first day of nursery school this morning (we were on holidays the past month and he only goes two days a week). I was thinking he'd be a little upset when I left him there. When we arrived he told all the teachers that he had a backpack. When I said bye to him he said no, left the room and folded his arms. Oh great, I'm thinking we're about to have a meltdown. Then a little girl in a cute dress, maybe a year older than my LO, walked by and went into a different classroom. My son turned and followed her in. Too cute, didn't even care mom was around after that.
