I know this thread is pretty old, but Amelia, if you are still around, I'd like to know how you use these Vileda floor cloths exactly. I've decided to clean my house on my own and am finding that the floors and surfaces get dusty pretty quickly in dusty Dubai. Any help would be appreciated!

Yes I have used the disposable dry static type cloths on this mop head which are great for picking up dust/hair etc. However, I now need a whole new mop, would love to hear if you happen to see them around. Thanks Amelia.

I've had mine for about four or five years and use it for dusting the floors before they are mopped. Not really sure where I bought it but probably C4 or Geant. edited by amelia on 14/02/2014

Yes they're damp, just like baby wet wipes but they are for domestic use. Can you remember where you purchased your mop from and how long ago?

Hi Jeano - yes bought mine here. Are the wipes that you use slightly moist?

Hi amelia, did you buy yours here in Dubai? I purchased mine in Singapore a few years ago when we lived there. I only use it for freshening kitchen floor at end of day, just so light and simple to use.

Sounds like the one I have. I used to buy the disposable ones but now buy a Vileda floorcloth, it cuts into four covers, which are reversible. When I have used all eight sides I put them in the washing machine. They last ages.

Thanks for your suggestion heycutie. It looks sort of similar to Swiffer WetJet but alot flimsier and does not have a water container. The actual mop head is a rubber pad with holes/grips on top side of mop to tuck the disposable wipe into.

If you are referring to the Swiffer WetJet, they are available at Safestway on SZR. :)
