I also went to Manchester Clinic for a check-up. While making the appointment on the phone I asked them how much it would be as my medical insurance does not cover this. I was quoted Aed800. After the check-up, when I went to pay, they gave me a bill of Aed2000!

The current rate at the Boots clinic in the UK is 90 pounds per injection. This was the most reasonably priced one that we found to have it done for somebody not covered by the NHS.. <em>edited by frampton on 28/03/2011</em>

Well I can see that it might have just been a misunderstand regarding the cost, but to send you a facebook message is just plain weird. In the UK I suspect the injection is partially covered by NHS
