Hi all!
I need a meat thermometer and syringe for my bday bbq and can only find a weber thermometer for 90Dhs! Anyone know where I can get these things a bit cheaper?? Looked in Geant but no luck :-(

Did a search on here but the most recent posts were from 2009....

TIA
:)

Pretty sure u can find it at Al Diyafa behind Times Square as well. They have almost everything, except butchers string ;-)

You could also look in Lakeland in MCC if Spinneys and Tavola are no good.

No worries. :) Another thought on the meat syringe: you could always use one of those turkey baster things [the ones with the long plastic 'injector' sections plus rubber 'squeeze' section on the end. Simply pierce the meat where you wish to inject and let the baster do the rest. Good luck! I'm sure it will all be delicious! :D

You should be able to buy a meat thermometer from the kitchen section in Spinney's [for less than 90dhs!'>. I'm sure I bought one there some time ago for less than that. As for the syringe, do you mean a marinade syringe? I have one, but I bought it in London. You might try Tavola for something like this or again, maybe Spinney's can help you. When I have needed to inject marinade, I often use a pharmaceutical syringe [saline, needle removed'> that I've bought from a chemist. They're so cheap, I toss it afterwards. ;)
