Good evening,

Ok, so I have a Nanny who has her own visa. She's going to be live in, does anyone have any advice on how I construct a contract, how I go about making sure I do it all properly for insurance purposes too.

Many thanks

She needs to bring an NOC from her current employer, and you issue a part-time work permit for her.

If your nanny already has her own visa, it’s important to be very careful, especially since she’ll be living in. The main things to think about are having a clear written contract, proper medical insurance, and making sure the arrangement is fully compliant with UAE regulations, not just privately agreed. Many families don’t realise that even with a nanny on her “own visa,” there can still be risks around liability, insurance coverage, and disputes if something goes wrong. This is why some people choose to go through Tadbeer, as they provide standard MOHRE-compliant contracts, insurance coverage, and clear terms, which removes a lot of uncertainty. At the very least, I’d recommend getting professional advice or comparing your setup with a Tadbeer framework, so you know you’re covered properly and not missing anything important. Hope that helps, and best of luck getting everything set up smoothly.
