I wanted actually to suggest DARC too but I thought maybe I should give them a call and see how they usually work before I suggest something like this. I have been to DARC before and if they will take her in, be assured that they will take good care of her and the lady there will not give her to a new home before she visits the potential new owner. Feline friends are great too but because they are so much famous and known, most of the time they are full. In addition they help all breeds of cats which is indeed a great thing. Good luck for Millie, in case DARC didn't take her in, let us know here.

Millie might be lucky enough to find someone here on EW who is looking for a persian. or maybe someone here is willing to foster Millie until she finds a good home?

Dear Lochlomond, Please if your cat is an indoor cat, please please do not put her outside. It is not proper to put a Persian cat outside. You may contact Feline Friends on urgent basis or otherwise, I would suggest the following: Tomorrow Lucky Vet Clinic in Al Barsha has an adoption day from 11am to 6pm, please take your cat there and look for Marwan, if you are fine with that, please let me know here and I will give Marwan a call and tell him about this. In case no bpdy adopted her tomorrow, we can put the cat in his clinic in case she didn't find the right family tomorrow, so she can stay there until she finds a new home/ the right home. Feline Friends are doing a great job but they are always packed and the volunteers already have many cats so since tomorrow there is an adoption day, this might be a quick solution/ faster. In case Millie didn't find a home tomorrow and you don't want to keep her inside the cage (in the clinic), you can check with Feline friends for a foster home, if they don't have one available, please let me know here and I will try my best to sort out something for Millie.

OMG is Millie an indoor cat?? please tell me she is an indoor/outdoor cat to be put outside to fend for herself?? Can she stay with friends until a home is found. It should be quick because of her breed. Did you call FF? they might be able to help moveher as she is a persian. Locklomond, can you email me? edited by SueB on 04/02/2011
