My daughter started getting alot of yellowy discharge from her eyes this afternoon, and they are getting worse. Her eyes are now puffy (the left eye is worse then the right) and pink. Is polysporin for pink eye available here? I don't want to do a mad search around town for it if it's not available. Does anyone know of anything else I could use if I can't get it? She's 5 yrs old, and she won't let me use an eye wash on her (she freaks out when she gets water in her eyes in the tub/pool). I'm fine with all kiddie ailments till it comes to the eyes. I'm squeemy just looking at her. LOL Thanks in advance!

Tobrex! It's easily available at pharmacies. These are eye drops and doesn't really hurt - I'm afraid the only options you have are eye drops and/or eye gel. @txjuliet, yes, you need to apply it for a week even if it looks fine else it will reoccur.

We just had this. Used olafax (sp?) for my 2 yo and 10 mo old. Cleared it up in about 24 hours but dr said use for 7 days. 2 drops per eye twice a day.
