Hi Ladies,

I have a Filippina housemaid working for me and I want to employ her sister who is in the Philippines at the moment. How can I bring her to Dubai?
Can her sister arrange a visit visa? What would be the cost to bring her here( excluding the working visa cost)
Do I need to use an agency to bring her in? If yes, which one?

There is a ban in hiring them directly from Philippines and bringing them over on maids visa. The way around it is for them to come on a visit visa by getting invited by a relative who is residing in the UAE (they have to share the same last name) and then once shes in the UAE, she can go on a maids visa. Many friends of mine have done this and it works out fine.

Her sister can invite her. Pop down to Satwa and any of the travel agencies there can help you. They will know the costs. Further to Sheikhandbake advise, Philippines government has banned maids to UAE since few years. FYI.
