Recommend someone who can sew to extend my curtain panels???

I have some blackout curtain panels that I need to make longer and since I have more panels than I needed, I am looking for someone to cut my extra panels to make the others longer. (make sense?)
Since I already have the material, a curtain company I called that was recommend on here said they won't do it for me.
Any recommendations or if there is any good sewers out there willing to take on this job, please let me know!
