Mine has been expired for ages.... but recently there was a thread indicating you can go to one of the certified typist centres listed and they can do it with just your passport/visa and old card....from what i understand you dont need to be finger printed again as they already have them....i would however like to request a new photo, but i suspect thats unlikely..... i intend to do mine in a few weeks....if you do yours first let us know where you went...i believe the lady on the other thread went to one at knowledge village????? meant to say despite being expired i still used it as ID to close an old etisalat internet account. edited by Blueskies on 01/03/2011 Why does everyone look like a CRIMINAL on them except the smiling local guy who is on the piece of paper that comes with it??????? I'll tell you why - she impatiently taps at a tiny camera that had ( at that time) a small UAE flag on it and you are thinking WT? and there it goes...and that is after she has shouted at you to "relax, relax " as she squeezes your fingers to the bone :D

I used the one that is next to DNRD at the Arabian Center, but I presume all proper typing centers can do it.

Just an update, took old card to typing center filled out a form, just got a sms to say it has been printed and is being past to Emirates post to deliver. Love it, so easy. :)
