I know there have been a few threads on this...

All I want is a decent place for full head highlights. No crazy costs and I would prefer to have an appointment asap! :-)

something on my way home to keep it easy

thank you!

I usually go to Juan Salon in Indigo tower in JLT .....always pleased BUT.... was in Pink Nails and more (also in JLT Fortune tower) getting mani/medi and saw a girl getting highlights done and looked really nice and natural. So, i took a leap and had full head of highlights + hair trim +blow dry done. The highlights/lowlights look fab and the whole hair thing only cost 200 AED! (made me want to kick myself for all the times i've spent 650 + for the same thing) this is a small place and not a "proper" hair salon. Its a nail salon that literally has one small nook set aside for hair. I believe the girl that does hair only comse in at 3pm and stays til 8 or so??

thanks! @The Mrs - I used to go to Roots in Jumeirah...however I find them to be too careful. I went to Donna for a perm and made very clear with photos etc what I wanted - not waves - proper curls. I left with waves anyway and hated it! My sister went to Donna then for highlights and again they were not as strong as she wanted them. she is so careful which might be good for people that are not sure what they want but it really irritated me :-(

I go to Ashleigh at Roots down at Novotel, DIFC but the girls at Roots in Jumeirah (where she was based before) are really good. The two Brit girls are great...can't remember their names. Am sure you would get in quickly. My half head of highlights, plus cut, came to 570aed total! Ashleigh is worth the trip down to DIFC (I'm based in Springs)...and I am very particular about my cut & colour!!
