Hi ladies, happy Eid! Hope you are having a great holiday!
I would really appreciate hearing from past or present parents at GEMS Wellington international school (the one on sheikh zayed road).
I have an offer there for my child and need to decide quite soon and would love to know if it's a good school, how parents are finding it, how it is managed etc etc.
Any and all feedback welcome.

JAPS is a much more established school, if I were you I would go with JAPS! I'm saying this though my daughter is at GEMS Wellington in DSO, and is really happy there, but I would certainly have chosen JAPS if I had the choice.

Thank you sourskittleashnut.! Not many reviews coming up on the search. I do have an offer and have to decide as we also have an offer with Jebel ali primary school. How do the two compare in your opinion? I think my kids may fit into both that is why its so hard to decide... Appreciate your feedback.

Anyone also have feedback on Safa Horizon Japs ??? Overall, I've heard very good things about the school, and it always gets the top rating from KHDA. It's quite hard to get admission so if you have an offer I suggest you take it. Have you gone for a school tour? That will give you an idea of if your kids will fit in. If you do a search on the threads for WIS as well as the other schools you mentioned, you'll see past reviews . The EW boards are not as active now so you might not get as detailed replies as before so a search is your best option.

Many thanks!!! Hi dubailoner, Our youngest DD spent just her last 2 years of schooling there. She loved it, made many friends and left with outstanding results. That was 3 years ago. Having said that in my experiences through the years, no matter where you live you will always find great and yet,sadly, not so great teachers. Plus here I have also noticed that teachers come and go sometimes at an alarming rate. The schools facilities are great but then they should be considering the cost parents have to pay.
