Sera lounge - beauty ... horror story
I paid a snap decision visit to SERA lounge in Media City last week for a Pedi,full set of gels and a bit of waxing ..
The appointment was first thing .. 11am ..
the leg waxing was fine .. quick and painless
the pedi .. looked great initially - but whilst she was trimming what she said was an ingrown toe nail - it hurt soooo much.. not before she started trimming and buffing ... but it actually kept me awake in the night so I bathed my toe with a antiseptic wipe low and behold - next day i cant walk on it - burning hot and very red .. after 12 hours I have a VERY angry looking big toe.. with green puss coming out of it ... horrid ...
the gels are totally rubbish ... air bubbles, uneven and the whole lot came to a very sorry 560aed ...
they had an offer on according to the manager ... spend over 200aed and get it for half price ...sunday and monday ....only she got this wrong and it was half price after spending over 400 aed so I ended up paying for a bikini wax without having one just to get the discount ...... i'm northern and love a good bargain ...the manager said a full set would take an hour and a half ... i was in there for 3and a half hours whilst they were faffing around ... NEVER again....
on a good note I had my hair cut by a great girl called Rain _ mobile but used to work for a well known salon - the cut is amazing and looks great !!
