I want to try Espresso Chocolate Bars but it's calls for powder. I googled to find a substitute which suggests instant coffee but says it won't have that deep roasted flavour, plus I don't want to buy a whole jar when we don't drink it. What I do have is espresoo beans, and a grinder, do you think I just grind the beans within an inch of their life? Sorry if this sounds obvious (the more I type the more obvious it seems) but I really don't want to waste a whole batch if it's going to be gritty. A second opinion is definitely needed!!

This would work as a substitute I think. Coffee flavour is pretty strong in any form so should be fine!
