If theres a particular hole u can see them appearing from block it up with silicon chalk ,they come through porous areas in plaster etc we had then in our bathroom just besides the taps on the bath tub .Gave them a shot of mold & mildew cleaner and then filled the tiny crack - they havent appeared since !

Yes - we have them too in our bathroom and our apartment building is only 3 and a half years old. Could be that our bathroom doesn't have a window and the cupboards under the sink are a little damp, esp. the one directly next to the bath and shower. I put those dehumidifiers in the cupboards every so often, but the little bugs are still there...I think they may be baby silver fish, as I caught quite a large one once in the apartment...I googled the name and the images were of silver fish...

They sound a little like what we've just had back in the uk, they were plaster beetles, very tiny that you could barely see them, when I looked closely there we so many! Called pest control and was told they don't just live on plaster always but in damp, humid place and with mould (although the mould was under a tile and couldn't be seen at all.....) I was told to reduce the humidity in the house, check for leaking pipes around sinks/shower trays etc and use a humidifier or even opening windows can help. Or pestcides. No idea if these are the same things that you have or if they even exist in Dubai! :)

I know this is a really old post but I have the exact same problem!!! I clean and they come crawling around the sink in the bathroom and along the edge of the basin and they are so tiny! I have no idea what they are or how to get rid of them.. did you end up finding out what they were?
