I would just stick with Expedia or even booking.com for flights/hotels or even jsut hotels as sometimes easier to find cheaper flights when looking on airline websites. The local booking companies I have encountered are *** as are the travel agents. What do the *** stars stand for? Cant think of anything bad or blocked except the bovines, and even that would be only in singular... :)

Also check with dohop.com and kayak.com, and cross-reference with the actual airline website.

Just use Expedia UK or US version but I tend to book flights and hotels separately and flick around until I get a good hotel rate for where i want

Is there a middle east version of either of these? Where do you ladies (and gents) book your trips through? Not sure when and where I'm going yet....but would like to start researching.
