URGENT: Is Dr Jaffer Khan actually a dermatologist?
I read a few posts on here saying that he is a certified dermatologist as well as being a plastic surgeon, so I went ahead and booked in with him to have a suspicious mole checked out. I've just been on his website though, and there's no mention of him being a dermatologist and he doesn't have any letters after his name to say he's a dermatologist (only plastic surgery/cosmetic surgery).
I'm due to go tomorrow... I tried calling them just now to ask them about this but they're closed. Can anyone confirm if he is a derm? Can he actually diagnose BCC or is he just recommended for removal of an already diagnosed one? I'm paying out of pocket, so I'd rather cancel and go to a derm for diagnosis if need be. Thanks :o)
