Hi We are looking at moving to either Arabian Ranches or Victory heights. We used to live in the Ranches so know it well but dont know Victory Heights at all. Does anyone know whats happening with the golf cluhouse and swimming pools as i know they have been delayed. Are they still being worked on? If anyone lives there can you advise what the standard of the villas is like, maintenance etc etc? Many Thanks Jenny

Jensteve, we are currently living in Victory Heights. Yes they are working on the pools but they are small, only one of them will be ready in a few months (near emirates road) and the other one is supposed to be ready by the end of summer (Estella) (Note that they never said what year). I have heard that the club house will be finished in September 2010. oh hang on thats passed already...oh well another thing that we will have to wait and see about. With regard to the maintenance of the villas, if it is outside the one year mark then its for the land lords account even if it was a defect on the list before the villa was out of warranty. We have had numerous problems with the villa from day one and every time we need something to fixed that was on the original defects list when the villa was first handed over the management company say its out of warranty now so its for your own account. Not the best of posts for the community but unfortunately its not all that its being sold as:(
