I currently have a maid once a week via a local agency. However, owing to deteriorating health I now require a live-in maid. My present maids contract has ended with her employer & as yet,has not been renewed but it is highly unlikely the agency will consider her release. The maid would like to resign her position & work full time for me. Under UAE labour laws do I need permission from her previous employer/does she need to be out of Dubai for six months before I can apply for a visa for her? Any help would be appreciated.
