Now You Can Ride an Abra Along Dubai Canal

It was announced this week that traditional abras are now available to ride in on the Dubai Canal. The Roads and Transport Authority shared the new service, provided by the Marine Transport Department, in an effort to expand the Emirate's tourist services... Which, of course, we're very excited about.

While it may cater mainly to tourists, there's nothing stopping residents from enjoying a smooth-sail down the new waterway that has altered Dubai's landscape considerably.
