Residents in Dubai experienced some rain in the country today
Residents around Dubai, Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah in the UAE experienced a short period of rain today morning as a storm passed.
However, a trending video on social media is bringing the attention to a water cyclone that appeared over the beach waters in Ras Al Khaimah on Tuesday morning.
This isn’t the first instance of a cyclone in the UAE – a water cyclone also shocked residents last December during a thunderstorm.
Nationals and expats living in the UAE should expect light rainfall to continue over the country in the upcoming days – as winds and rain make their way from the Arabian Gulf with wind speeds at 40 km/hr.
