Review: Treat Your Skin to CGF PRP Therapy in Dubai
Is your face in desperate need of a little TLC? Do you have wrinkles that you wish were just a little bit softer now? Or do you simply want to give your face a fresher, youthful look?

We've found the perfect answer for you.

I've been having Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy done at least once every 12 months, but this time I wanted to try out something new during my annual visit at Cocoona Centre for Aesthetic Transformation.

Instead of my normal treatment, this time I opted for the CGF Therapy, recommended by Dr. Sanjay Parashar, and here's why!

What is CGF and PRP?

For those of you who haven't heard of CGF or are new to the world of PRP therapies, CGF simply stands for Concentrated Growth Factor.
You may have heard of the Vampire Facial? The Vampire Facial is also known as PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma).

PRP was originally founded for osteopathy and has been used for the last 20 years with good success to repair sports injuries in joints and muscles. Now, PRP is being used to achieve skin rejuvenation and hair growth. It's effective as it is a potent anti-aging product that has tissue and collagen growth factors that stimulate the production of collagen.

PRP can stimulate the regeneration and recovery of aging facial tissue to permanently reduce wrinkles and improve skin tone.

How is CGF obtained?

Using your own blood, doctors can isolate and concentrate your platelets, which contain the highest concentration of the cells required for healing to take place. These platelets are then injected back into your skin.

What are the advantages of using CGF?

  • There are no additives in the preparations so there is ZERO chance of an allergic reaction
  • It is the patient’s own blood so the treatment is entirely natural
  • Non-surgical so there is very little recovery time.

How does CGF work?

The process is quite simple, vials of your blood, and then spin it down to separate the red blood cells from the Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP). injected back into the dermal layer of the skin. The procedure and products used are completely natural, the base product is your own blood.

When we are young and youthful and have the lovely plump sooth skin we have considerable amounts of platelets and stem cells but the older we get the and bust lifestyles that we have our sin takes its toll.

Consultation

My consultation with Dr. Sanjay Parashar was in detail of my history with botox and PRP. Dr. Sanjay discussed with me the treatment procedure and asked me to revisit in 1 weeks’ time after the treatment.

What to expect

A thin layer of cream to numb the skin was applied and 20 mins later after I was all numb we started our PRP. As you can see from the video I felt nothing! Small frequent injections we done. I was very comfortable just laying back.

Once my treatment of injections was done I was a bit red but not at all uncomfortable. A calming face mask was applied and by the time I arrived home I was back to normal.

I was told that I may experience some slight bruising but this was so minimal that only I knew it was there and nothing that a small amount of makeup could not hide.

What you see

For optimum results, a course of 2-5 treatments, 4-6 weeks apart is advisable. The number of sessions will depend on the patients age, overall skin health. The full process of collagen regeneration takes 6-8 months. However, patients can experience significant difference with 2-3 days from the first treatment and will continue to see gradual improvement over the next few weeks.

Touch-up treatments are advised in intervals of 6-24 months. The intervals will depend on your age and skin health.

Thank you, Cocoona Center for Aesthetics, and thank you to Dr. Sanjay Parashar.
