INSOMNIA Dubai, the city's biggest gaming festival, in partnership with Dubai-based events company, Global Event Management (GEM), has revealed the ultimate line-up of YouTube stars after much anticipation and a huge amount of speculation online.
The Sidemen have finally been unveiled and confirmed as the celebrity YouTubers! With more than 5.7 million YouTube followers and a combined 53 million online followers, The Sidemen have earned legendary status in the gaming world. The renowned group of gamers and content creators are known for their immensely entertaining and funny challenges, sketches and video-game commentaries on YouTube, which attracted over 20 million views.
Fans of the gaming crew will have a chance to meet and greet The Sidemen, enjoy 1v1 video games against them, witness main stage appearances, win prizes, grab autographed photos and selfies, and possibly even get their hands on exclusive Sidemen merchandise.
The decision of having The Sidemen onboard has ultimately been decided by the gamers themselves, with INSOMNIA Dubai running numerous polls online asking attendees who they want to see! Well, INSOMNIA Dubai certainly delivered fans' demands, establishing themselves as a "gamer first" festival.
Not only have The Sidemen been confirmed, but also the much-loved Minecraft YouTube personality, Seapeekay! The YouTube superstar, with an impressive half a million followers, broke world records for the "Fastest Time for Building a House in Minecraft". Seapeekay will be at INSOMNIA Dubai to meet and greet with fans, partake in plenty of event activities, and even hold 1v1 challenges with ticket-holders throughout the INSOMNIA weekend.
