If you’re looking to participate in a unity run, here’s your chance
Residents in the UAE, listen up!
This is your chance to show support to those who are special to us in every way, shape and form.
Emirates NBD, one of the UAE’s leading banks, is putting together its 3rd edition of the Unity Run and it’s the perfect opportunity for you to show support to the special communities in the UAE.
For the first time ever in the annual Unity Run, runners will be joined by the UAE Special Olympics athletes!
A great initiative to bring all the communities of the UAE together under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansoor Bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, this Unity Run will promote the social inclusion of people of determination in the UAE.
What better way to participate in a run during a wonderful morning in the UAE than to show solidarity for the Special Olympics athletes that will truly turn into a memorable experience.

Residents in Dubai are encouraged to take part – no matter their abilities – in the Emirates Unity Run happening on Friday, November 16 at the Dubai Silicon Oasis.
You’ll be setting a wonderful example of participation and support to the special communities in the UAE as well as focusing on the importance of the social inclusion of people of determination and what they can achieve with the right kind of support.
Here are important things to know about the ENBD Unity Run:
- The run will kick off at 8 am - registration starts at 6 am
- People of determination enter for FREE
- Families and friends of people of determination also enter for free
- Participants will complete an untimed 3 km walk
- A special run will occur after to celebrate the UAE flag colours

What is the Special Olympics?
The Special Olympics in the UAE helps to train special athletes to take part in a variety of Olympic-type sports.
Children and adults with an intellectual disability or a physical disability are given the opportunities to take part in events and athletic competitions that develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage and helps to instil virtues of joy, friendship and participation.
