These are the service timings for the RTA bus, metro, tram, and abra for Eid Al Adha in Dubai

Eid al Adha RTA Timings Have Been Announced

RTA is also working with Dubai Police to prepare for the Eid Al Adha traffic

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced the new hours for public transport services and customer help during the Eid Al Adha holidays. RTA services affected by the holiday timings include:

  • Dubai metro
  • Dubai tram
  • Public buses
  • Paid parking zones
  • Marine transit modes
  • Customers' happiness centres
  • Service-prodier centres (Technical Testing)
    • The Events Security Committee, comprised of RTA and Dubai Police, has also charted out a comprehensive plan for Eid al Adha holiday traffic in Dubai. According to RTA, the ultimate objective of the traffic plan is to enhance the safety and security of drivers during Eid and to ensure smooth traffic flow for road users.

Dubai metro and tram timings for Eid Al Adha

Red Line

Metro Stations on the Red Line will be operating from 6 AM to 2 AM (of the following day) from Saturday 10th August until Tuesday 13th August.

Green Line

Green Line stations will be offering service during the same period from 5:30 AM to 2 AM (of the following day) from Saturday 10th August until Tuesday 13th August.

For the RTA trams, they will run from 6 AM until 1 AM (of the following day) from Saturday 10 August to Tuesday 13th August. On Friday 16th August, the tram service will operate between 9 AM to 1 AM (of the following day).

Dubai bus timings for Eid Al Adha

Public buses

RTA public buses will operate during the Eid Al Adha holiday as per the timings below:

Main Bus Stations (including Gold Souq) will operate from 4:25 AM to 00:59 AM (of the following day).

Ghubaiba Station will be in service from 4:26 AM to 00:43 AM (past midnight).

Sub-stations (including Satwa) will start from 5 AM to 11 PM except for Route C01 operating around-the-clock from Satwa.

Qusais Station will run bus service from 4:49 AM to 00:08 AM (past midnight).

Al Quoz Industrial Station will open from 5:05 AM to 11:35 PM.

Jebel Ali Station will operate from 5 AM and will finish at 11:22 PM.

Metro link buses

Metro Link bus station located in Rashidiya, Mall of the Emirates, Dubai Mall/Burj Khalida, Ibn Battuta Mall, and Etisalat station will open from 5 AM to 2:10 AM (of the following day).

The timing of the Metro Link bus service will be synchronised with the metro timetables, said RTA.

Inter-city bus timings for Eid al Adha

Inter-city bus stations and commercial buses will be operating during the Eid holidays as follows:

Main stations, such as Al Ghubaiba, will be operating around-the-clock to Sharjah (Jubail).

Abu Dhabi service will be running from 4:36 AM up to 1 am (past midnight).

Substations, such as the Union Square, will be in service from 4:30 AM up to 1:25 AM (of the following day).

Sabkha Station will run from 6:15 AM until 1:30 AM (of the following day).

Deira City Centre Station will be operating from 5:35 AM until 11:30 PM.

Karama Station will run bus service from 7 AM until 10:23 PM.

Al Ahli Club Station will operate between 5:55 AM and 10:15 PM.

Bus stations outside Dubai

Sharjah’s Al Ta’awun will run its bus service from 5:30 AM until 10 PM.

Fujairah Station will operate from 5:23 AM until 9:39 AM.

Ajman Station will open from 5:30 AM until 11 PM.

Hatta Station buses will be from 5:30 AM until 9:30 PM.

Dubai water bus, ferry, and abra timings for Eid Al Adha

Marine transit services during Eid Al-Adha holidays will observe the following timing:

Water bus

The Water Bus will operate at Marina Stations (Marina Mall, Marina Walk, Marina Terrace, Marina Promenade) from 12 in the afternoon until midnight.

It will run services from Jaddaf Station to Dubai Water Canal Station at the following times: 12:30 PM, 3:30 PM, and 6:15 PM.

From Dubai Water Canal to Jaddaf Station: 2:05 PM, 4:50 PM, and 7:40 PM.

Abra

Traditional Abra will operate at Dubai Creek Stations (Ghubaiba to Sabkha) from 10 AM until 1 AM (of the following day). Fahidi to Sabkha, Dubai Old Souq to Baniyas, and Baniyas to Al Seef services will be running from 10 AM to 1 AM (of the following day).

The air-conditioned abra will be running between Jaddaf and Dubai Festival City from 8 AM to midnight.

Electric abra at Burj Khalifa Station will carry passengers from 6 PM to 11:30 PM. The abra will go through Marina, Al Seef, Dubai Festivity City, Baniyas, and Al Fahidi from 4 PM to 11:30 PM.

From the Waterfront to Marasi stations, abra journeys will be at 8 AM, 9:15 AM, 11:50 AM, 12.35 PM, 2:05 PM, 3.55 PM, 5:20 PM, 6:30 PM, and 8:20 PM.

From Marasi Station to the Waterfront Station, the rides are scheduled for 8:55 AM, 10:25 AM, 12:15 PM, 1:45 PM, 3:15 PM, 5:05 PM, 7:40 PM, and 9:30 PM.

From Marasi Station to Sheikh Zayed Road Station the services will be at 8:15 AM, 9:35 AM, 11:25 AM, 12:55 PM, 2:25 PM, 4:15 PM, 5:35 PM, 6:50 PM, and 8:40 PM.

From Sheikh Zayed Road Station to Marasi Station, the service timing will be at 8:35 AM, 10:00 AM, 11:50 AM, 1:20 PM, 2:50 PM, 4:40 PM, 5:55 PM, 7:15 PM and 9:05 PM.

The Ferry service between Ghubaiba and Dubai Marina Stations will be at 11:00 AM, 1 PM, 3 PM, 5 PM and 6:30 PM.

From Sheikh Zayed Road Station, the Ferry will run roundtrips from 4 PM to 10 PM.

New Dubai-Sharjah ferry line timings during Eid Al Adha

From Sharjah Aquarium, the ferry will make trips from 2 PM to 7 PM.

From Ghubaiba Station, the service will be at running between 3 - 8 PM.

More than 300,000 passengers will be flying out of Dubai for the Eid al Adha break

Paid parking zones during Eid Al Adha

Drivers and motorists can enjoy free parking across all paid parking zones in Dubai during the Eid Al Adha holidays.

With an exception for multi-level parking terminals, car owners can use the paid parking zones free of charge for five days from Friday 9th August until Tuesday 13th August.

Customers' happiness centres service hours during Eid Al Adha

The RTA customer happiness centres will be closed from Saturday 10th August until Tuesday 13th August, and will resume services on 14th August.

Smart customer happiness centres located in Umm Al Ramood and the RTA Head Office will be operating 24/7.

All Service Providers (Technical Testing) centres will also be closed during the Eid Al Adha holiday, and will resume on the Wednesday 14th of August.
