With the 89th Saudi National Day set this Tuesday, September 23, the annual celebration is just around the corner. The Saudi Ministry of Civil Service announced that the kingdom will enjoy four-day public holiday, and the UAE is also set to celebrate KSA's National Day with a five-day lineup of exciting festivities.
If you can't fly back home to celebrate because of life and plans, don't worry as there's plenty of fun things to do between September 19 and September 23 for Saudi National Day. From fireworks to musical performances, there are lots to look forward to across the emirates.
Ahead, we've compiled a list of the top things to do to celebrate Saudi National Day with friends and family while in the UAE.
1. Watch free star-studded performances by regional singers
Celebrate KSA National Day with your friends and families with free live performances from the regional pop star, Balqees, set to perform fan favourites at City Walk, Dubai on September 19. You can also watch Emirati singer and former Arab's Got Talent finalist, Shamma Hamdan, perform live at La Mer on September 20 from 9 PM.

2. IMG Worlds of Adventure + Cinema Ticket

3. Witness Dubai's fireworks specially for KSA National Day
Dubai will light up the sky this Saudi National Day with a variety of lights, lasers, and firework displays.
From September and September 23, Dubai Festival City Mall will run its spectacular daily fire, lasers, and lights show to Saudi music.
On September 23, an impressive fireworks display will happen over Bluewaters and The Beach.
Elsewhere on the same day, The Pointe on Palm Jumeirah will also display a series of celebratory fireworks.
The iconic Burj Khalifa will also be lit with the Saudi national flag on September 23, with the Dubai Fountain showcasing water and lights show to a rendition of the kingdom's national anthem.

5. Traditional Saudi Arabian entertainment
During the five-days celebration, traditional KSA music, dancing, and other entertainment performances will take place across Dubai.
Watch traditional Saudi dances on September 20 - 23 at Al Seef. The performances will happen every hour from 7 PM until 9 PM. A professional henna artist will be present at the venue to design temporary tattoo art using natural ingredients.
More dance performances can be seen at Last Exit Al Khawaneej at 7:30 PM, 8:30 PM, and 9:30 PM on September 20.
On September 19 and 20, residents can also enjoy live dance performances at the Boxpark on the following timings: 6 PM, 7:30 PM, and 8:30 PM.
6. Chill out at the Ice Lounge
Spend Saudi National Day by taking a short getaway from the sweltering UAE summer to a cafe made out of literal ice.
It's not the first time the UAE celebrated KSA's National Day. Last year, Abu Dhabi honoured the special occasion by painting 88 police cars with the Saudi and UAE flag, accompanied with the words "Together Forever", highlighting their special political bond.
In other parts of the world, the New York Times Square celebrated by displaying photos of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud.
