SalsB, I think 2600 pcm, 2 month exit clause and not sure about the term but I could check with DH tonight.....?
that would be great, thanks.
Couldn't get a straight answer but there's a 12 month minimum, probably best to call/visit them.
QNB now offers leasing

Their advertising on the radio says that all maintainence is covers and you can say upto 40% compared to a personal loan.
My husband just leased an Alfa yesterday - it's called New Cars Centre on 4432 5717 at The Centre.
How much per month and what are the lease terms!!! hubby maybe interested.
Swizzle stiX - we were thinking of leasing too for the same reason, what company did you use?
Will ask DH for the name. I know the guy's name is Mike (British guy) and he works out of the old Jag showroom just before the Centre and MegaMart.
Hi Swizzle, I know it's been months since the last post, but we are thinking of the car leasing option too....did you find out what the name of the company that you used?

We bought a 2nd hand car that was advertised on Qatar sale. It was not an easy process separating the wheat from the chaff but when we found a car that seemed like a good option we took it to the German Auto Centre on Salwa Road (opposite side from quality hypermarket & a bit further up) who gave it a full check for (i think) 250qr.
They seemed thorough & as they don't have a garage for repairs we trusted that they were not inventing issues that needed fixed.
There are a few garages along a strip (some with similar names) that all offer this service & if buying 2nd hand, I'd definitely recommend getting the car checked out.
We have decided to lease our cars..we have found a great company offering good prices. My husband has a brand new Alfa Romeo for 2,700 a month. We chose this option so we would not be beholden to the bank for a loan and it means that we can leave the country should the need arise.
My biggest concern was that I was never sure how the car had been treated. If the past owner spent a lot of time dune bashing, it could mean some unseen damage to the car.
I finally bought my car through a friend, so I knew the history of the car and trusted the source. With that said, some friends have had good experience through www.qatarsale.com. But as everywhere, buyer beware.
If you're joining a big company like QP, there are often internal memo boards where people buy and sell various things including cars. This is a good option as well. If your company doesn't have one, ask friends to keep an eye out for you on their company's website.
Hi ladies,
the more I read about buying a car in Qatar the more confused I get. I am getting the feeling that everyone basically just tries to rip you off. Any suggestions? Where did you buy your cars? Is there a used car dealership you can recommend?
Have a nice weekend :)
