I am 7 weeks pregnant and so far I have only see the general doctor at work who did all those initial pregnancy tests, etc, She ask me to come and see her at 8 weeks for a sonogram, but although it is very convenient since it is the clinic at work and everything is free, I would prefer to start seeing a obs/gyn. I used to go to Dr Tank, but she was recently removed from the network and now it is only covered 50% and she is expensive, also corniche hospital is only covered 50%, we have Oman Insurance. Can anyone recommend me a good doctor?. I heard good recommendations about Dr. Marwan at Al Noor Hospital which by the way I think is a great hospital and I would like to deliver there. However, I am a bit worried that many people do not like Dr. Marwan. Thank you.

Hi, and congratulations :) Sorry, only just saw this post. I am 36 weeks pregnant and have been seeing Dr Marwan since moving to AD in November. I really like him, and find him very reassuring. He explains everything in great detail, and is always open to chat and answer any questions I have. He has been a very attentive doctor, and I have felt well looked after. Now that I am 36 weeks he has asked to see me every week until birth. I can't recommend him for the actual birth, as this is my first time - but I am very happy with him so far. Tx
