Agree, Limited is good if you dont want to say no to a friend request from a work colleague for example (or the mother in law!) so you can change settings to they only see certain things. I also set my photo albums and wall so only my good friends can see them (setting is: all except limited profile). As they say, dont want the entire world having access to my life, just my friends. For the additional people, e.g. relatives, colleagues, old school friends who you never see but feel bad saying no to, and people you dont really like however have interesting lives you like to spy on - limited all the way! Just play around with settings in edit friends and privacy and you will get the hang of it. If privacy is important, ensure your settings are 'friends only' for wall, photos, info etc as sometimes it automatically sets to 'friends of friends' which means anyone can see it really. Happy facestalking!..I mean Facebooking ;)

This sounds useful - but how can I assign friends to "limited profile" and edit settings for limited profile? I can't find anything! Thanks! go into account/edit friends and you can create your limited profile list there and add people to it. of my 300 friends i'd say only 5% have full access to my account..the world does not need to know what i am up to!

You can shift your friends from either of these lists to the other at any time. The main reason to have a limited profile list is to move those people who you don't want to see things on your FB account, say photo albums or your wall posts. Existing as well as newer albums on your profile can be edited to hide the pictures from people on the limited profile.

So what's the difference, have been using FB for a while but don't know the difference, can anyone explain? Plus if I want to change 'friends' from one to the other is that possible? Thanks in advance
