husband has an offer in Qatar and the contract has been signed by the company. now they are requesting passport copy and pics and a date to enter the country on a working visa, since it is not allowed anymore to start a new job on a visit visa. meanwhile, he has a potential job offer in Abu Dhabi, which is more interesting for his carrer. but it will take al leat another 2 weeks to be approved/rejected. if they start processing his visa in Qatar, can he quit while in probation? would he be banned or require a noc (while in probation) to go back to the UAE? Perhaps tell the AD company the situation, and hope they make a swift decision. Bans / NOC are not relevant cross country.... Yes, but if the company in Qatar has the visa in place and they are not willing to cancel than he cannot have another work visa in a GCC country... But you will be in probation period so he can cancel. Best policy is to be upfront with the people in AD....
