Locks for windows (inside)?

We are hopefully moving house soon. I am a bit concerned about the upstairs windows - they come down quite low so are easily opened from inside and I am worried my 4-yr old will be able to open them and get onto the terrace & balcony. Anyone have any ideas/advice how to replace handles with locking ones or some type of catch that can be added?
