Thanks for the information em2san, I've already sent donations and helped out, but there's another charity which gave out a list of medical supplies which they need help to collect fast because of the lack of supplies they have in Libya already. I just didn't know where to begin, but I'll call up the other charities i delt with already and see if they have any ideas.

UAE2010, I think that there are a few reliable charities in UAE already involved in relief efforts in Libya. If you contact them, they get a special rate from pharmacies and food suppliers. You can make a cash donation to them. Some of these charities even allow you to select what items you want to purchase with your donation.
