We are shortly moving to Dubai and have places for my children at Gems Royal School Dubai. However I have been told about another good school The Sheffield Private School. Does anyone have any information on this school. The fees are a lot cheaper and I just wondered if it was any good? Any advice gratefully received.

I have just been through the same thing as we have just moved here and had to find a school, we visited most of the schools, I think it depends where you are going to move to as to where the school is, the only school we could get our children into was Greenfields at the Green Community, it is a very nice school and most of the kids live in the Green community which is nice for after school and stuff, there are lots of lovely parks there and a shopping mall and Marriot hotel with restaurants and stuff. The schoool is half the price of Gems, I have my children's name down for that school but they seem very happy at Greenfields andit is ticking all of the boxes for us. My childrne are 11 and 7. Let me know how you get on. natasha

Thanks, any help and information is great. Its like looking for a needle in a haystack choosing a school. They are all good but location and fees obviously play a role. Thanks anyhow

Hi, I know of a friend who sends her children to Sheffield Private School. Sorry, I'm not much of a help on the school itself in terms of providing more info however according to this data : http://www.dubaifaqs.com/sheffield-school-dubai.php , students and teachers satisfaction earned 3.5 stars! For school website : http://www.sheffieldprivateschool.com/ HTH.
