finger tips to be specific and strangely only the right hand. This in spite of using gloves everyday to wash any vessels that don't go into the dish washer. Tried everything on the rack from a dermatologist recommended cream to beautician advised home remedy. The situation is so bad in fact that they have cracked up and about to bleed. Help me ladies, cos its not only embarrassing but h3ll painful :(

Instead of wasting yet more money on creams i would suggest you go back to your GP and ask for a referral and some more tests.

Try Eucerin Intensive Hand Cream. Readily available in most pharmacies and works wonders.

I have exactly the same problem. I looked on the internet and found someone saying they had the same problem and thought it came from the ink on the newspapers... not too sure if it is coincidence, but if I read the papers without putting on gloves... it flares up again. I found a cream called Eucerin (you can get it here in chemists) which helps clear it up in no time

PS. Mines not a typo...it is infact Elizabeth ANNES, not Arden. But agree with Mrs L, the 8 hour cream is fab!

Elizabeth Arden do a product called 8 hour creme, you could try rubbing that on before bed and then putting gloves on ( the sort that you by for wearing at night), also olive oil might help, worked amazingly well for DS eczema.... But maybe you should also look at diet....ESP your omega oils

It's called Elizabeth Annes Aqaeous Cream. I have been lucky enough to find the original one here in Dubai, but not the lavender one. MIL has tried both and it's the lavender one that works. If you want my bit I have left or want me to get you some, email me: bellsdxbATgmailDOTcom

Thats so sweet of you really. I wouldn't mind giving it a try. If you can share the name, would love to hunt for it around here as well.

My mother in law suffers from dry, cracked hands and swears by a cream I get her in south africa. It's an aqueous cream with lavender in it. I have a small bit left in a tub ere if you want to try it. Or I could bring some back for you sometime in the next 2 months a I'm planning a trip home. Let me know.
