just tried it. i'm an idiot, it works. gah! all this time i was hating the machine cuz "it didn't start the dryer without starting the whole wash cycle again" thanks for your help, i knew i'd get an answer on here! =)
ok, i'll try it with no clothes inside. whenever i tried the "dry only" i had clothes in and it always made these noises and i thought it was the sound of filling water all over again lol

ours doesn't have a button that says "dry only" there's a dial for the dryer with different functions and the time. the four buttons on the side of it, the black ones, don't have dry only on them either. so should i turn the dial to a time and then press "play"?
I *think* that that's what I do ... don"t select any wash cycle, just choose the drying time then press start.

I do and it doesn't start the cycle again just sounds like it letting in a bit of water before it starts. I only use one button when I use the dryer - once the power is on just presss the button where the dry only function is shown and set it to 'dry only'. Do not turn the big knob. Not sure if that's what you're doing already but hope that helps.
Oh, and then press start obviously!

we have had this washer dryer for over a year now, it washes great. the only problem is that i can't do a "dryer" only cycle. if i put the dryer on, it starts the whole washing cycle over again. does anyone else have this machine and know how to do a dryer only cycle?
