I thought I'd like her but she won't shut the eff up and it's driving me crazy. At first I didn't even miss Simon but I think there's a bit too much love going on. Steven loves everyone. Randy is only semi-honest and J.Lo is an annoying interrupter. I do think the contestants are entertaining.

J.Lo may be annoying but I find them very intuitive & helpful towards the contestants it's nice to have 3 judges that all know about music and bring a lot of that knowledge to the board - they also chose excellent contestants :) <em>edited by WhitesHouse on 25/03/2011</em>

I'm finding her really annoying as well. Love Steven Tyler but he's not as funny as he was during the auditions. Randy's the only one who has standards, it seems. I miss Simon! Tried to get DH to watch it but he watched a couple and said it's boring compared to X Factor and now refuses to watch it with me. Paul's moves are driving me crazy. I'm 'kinda' on the fence with this one. I do LOVE the new judges! However, if JLo says 'Baby' one more time I will scream! And her and Steven do need to get a bit more 'honest' and not so nice all the time. I love Pia, Paul, Lauren and Thia! But I'm hoping its Pia and Paul at the end!!!

Sorry have to disagree with you ladies on this. I started watching this year's Idol with every intention of not liking it because Simon wasn't there but have to say that I am thoroughly enjoying it! I think that both Steven and J Lo are much kinder to the contestants and their criticism's are constructive and Randy has become a little harder this year. There isn't the same amount of negativity that was there last year. I already have my favourite contestant - Paul McDonald so will be crossing fingers for him!!!

Agree totally, tried getting into idol this year, and just don't like the way the judging panel is set up. Honestly there's a reason why most talent aren't talent spotters.... just because you can sing/dance/act/perform doesn't mean you have the ability to spot talent and judge. I'm looking forward to the X factor as simon has gotten the def jam records guy L.A Reids on board, and I think it will have a lot more credibility....
