I can't remember if it is called the happy chic (we call it "hippy chic"). It doesn't have kiddie friendly food and the only fresh juices it offers are citrus based (I'm allergic and my ds has bee advised to avoid citrus until he is older and he is one of those kids who don't drink soda). KCA needs more places to eat. As for the Mug and Bean we are going back! I meant to say we are NOT going back to the M&B. I hate it when I make a typo and only realise days later!!! Miss J -I've seen smoking inside as well. I have not been to Jones the Grocer though. We'll try that. We love the chicken from Happy Chic but I have to bring a juice for junior as they only have orange, lemon, orange/carrot juices (which can be pretty sour for a kiddie's taste anyway). edited by eli19 on 13/07/2011

I don't like Miss J - smoking is allowed inside ! Happy chic is good and Jones the Grocer :) Haven't seen anyone smoke in la brioche. Have you been there yet? We love the eggs Benedict for breakfast.

Living in Khalifa A means not having a lot of choices of restaurants. We have been to Mug and Bean at Etihad Plaza a few times. The food is not cheap and the quality average. However, last time we were there I had to send my chicken burger back to the kitchen. The chicken was not only very very salty (and I am the kind of person who adds salt to my food). Also the chicken did not taste "right". The manager explained this was because the chicken was not fresh but had been previously frozen. I refused to eat it. Of course that night my poor tummy was hurting so much I spent a very restless night. Thank Goodness I did not finish my food. Anybody else having problems with the Mug and Bean in KCA?
