Hi all,

I am looking for flats in Abu Dhabi and would like to ask whether it is better to rent a furnished flat or buy my own furniture. I am looking to stay for at least three years. I would like to have an idea about the cost of buying furniture for 2 bedrooms, living room, kitchen and maid's room (basic furniture). I hope that some of you can help me with your experience.

Thanks a lot,

Hi SIA, I am a British landlord and have a nice flat in Al Muneera for rent. It has 4B and has lovely views. If you are interested, I can give you further information, just let me know soonest possible. Hi Mrs Orchid. Could you please send me more details on the flat, price, facilities in the building and the area. Cheers.

I definitely wouldn't go for a furnished flat. Styles can be a little off sometimes and you'll find the availability of furnished flats to be much lower. Plus, lots of second hand furniture is always available as there are always expats coming and going. and there's always IKEA ;) Thanks TamiM. Do you know places for furniture with good prices (beside IKEA).. Cheers.
