Al Raha Beach v Rihaan Heights

Hi,

Would greatly appreciate any advice on Al Raha Beach and Rihaan Heights. Have viewed apartments in both and feel totally confused on which one would be more suitable for me. Rihaan heights is lovely, with great finish, just found the bedrooms a bit small and views are not great. Al Raha has nicer views but finishing is not as good, although much more storage space, but does have a beach.

Any thoughts or recommendations?

Thanks for all the good advice, I do have kids and they loved the beach when we visited. There is a strange smell in some of the apartments that we visited. May still have to go for Rihaan as we are running out of time and need to move by end of the month. the smell will be damp its a problem in al reef too.

Aldar can be a pain to deal with alright, as far as the cooling bills are concerned they seem to have got that under control, but if it was me I'd take Rihaan heights hands down, you're close to Muroor with loads of shops and takeaways and no issue with taxis and stuff for town, Raha is a PITA if you want to travel into town of an evening and a nasty taxi bill on a late night home as well. Of course I base all my decisions on accommodation on their proximity to my usual watering holes, which I appreciate might not be everyone's main driver :-) oooh hello lanarkwitch ring me.... sent you messages you havent replied.

If you have kids then raha would be nice. If you are single then dont do it cause you might feel isolated. Some of the new developments in raha have some mould issues, so check before you move in.

Thanks for the advice Busy, are you saying Aldar are good to deal with? Thanks mmmmh no, a lot of people have issues with them over raha gardens, which are villas, also you need to check that all aldar properties are run under district cooling which is not the usualy addc. also raha is off island and rihaan is on island, so it depends on where you will be commuting to as well.

Many thanks Z be aware that you are on the flight path at raha beach in some of the apartments and you dont notice it in the day as the planes fly over at night. also raha is done by aldar and i know that people who are in other developments dont have an easy time, also is raha district cooling i suspect it will be and so then you need to look at the cost of your electric bill etc.
