Can someone please offer me some guidance re the procedure for school admissions when moving from UK. Do we try to secure places before leaving or just pack up and go there and find a school ?
I am really confused because checking various school websites they ask for certain documents, and then scary stories of long waiting lists, I don't want my children to miss school here since all schools in AD ask for a full years report from previous school. Sorry I may not be making sense but I don't want to leave UK and then be sat in Abu Dhabi with two kids and no school :) I'm sure a lot of you ladies would have been in a similar situation please tell me what's the best thing to do ?? My husband is leaving for AD in two weeks, can he secure school places without the children being there?
