We moved to Abu Dhabi in September and my son (almost 2.5) has just been going through the process of being assessed for ASD and is starting some therapies.
It's a hard road and I'd really like to find other moms in Abu Dhabi of young children or toddlers with ASD- just to talk, socialise and for support. My son is high functioning- he is smart as whip, and communicates verbally. His main issues are social things, repetitive behaviours, and some echolalia.

If there are any other moms out there with kids on the spectrum maybe we could form a group or just get together informally with our children for playdates and to chat. Or if anyone knows of a group already in existence, I'd love to hear about it.
