My son needs to be seen by a dentist; his permanent teeth are coming in fast and his jaw is small. We saw a dentist last week at Family Dental but not convinced about the treatment he suggested. Any recommendations? Thanks

thank you a lot! I've read other recommendations about this Dental Centre, it is not close to us but close to my husband job place, Tornado Tower. Eleonor Not so close to you but Dr Nafeh at the British International Dental Centre was great with my children. Google for contact details. Based on 10th floor of Salam Tower just off Corniche road by the refurbishing Sheraton.

dear all just arrived, and looking for a good orthodontist for kids in Doha, possibly (but not necessarily) close to Education City - Al Rayyan - Gharaffa area (we live in Education City Compound). Our DD wears braces and she needs to be monitored here and she will need to have new braces soon. I read the advices on this thread but they are old, so maybe some new advice is available thanks Eleonor

Look for British Trained / British Dental Board or registered with American Dental Board. If you google your 'old' dentist you should find their qualifications. Hope this helps...

Dr. Heather in Motorcity. Just come back from there and both Ds were happy and she was great!

Hiya would definitely recommend Dr Amjad at the British Dental Clinic in Salam tower by the corniche. He's a british dentist and was really great with me and the kids ( I needed lots doing and am a real scaredy cat!). HTH Sharon
