Urgent! Does anyone have a car seat to give away? (13-18kg)
We are travelling in a week to india for a month, and I would really like to have a car seat in the car for DS to sit in (while there). Due to weight restrictions and other issues, its not possible for us to take the one we have and then bring it back... we would need to leave it there.
So was wondering if anyone had a car seat that they dont need (kids grown out of) and I could take it?
DH is unfortunately not keen on buying another one... brand new or second hand... as he is not 'convinced' about these things, especially in India (dont ask.. its a typical indian mentality... I am just grateful I could convince him to buy the one we are using now here in UAE).
Here I am the one who insisted on a carseat and DS has sort of understood that its important and has now developed the habit of buckling himself in the moment he's in the car. A habit I spent the last 4 years trying to ingrain into him as I didn't really have the support of DH and have FINALLY succeeded.
DS is now 104cm and 13-15kg (range) and if I could get a seat that can last atleast for another 1-2 years it would be great... as there is no way I would be able to buy one.
