I'm new to Abu Dhabi and with Valentine's day around the corner I'm struggling to find a nice place to go for dinner. I'm looking for something romantic but that won't break the bank!

Any one got a suggestion? A hotel maybe with dinner and drinks?

A hotel maybe with dinner and drinks? x Depending on where you are living but I know Yas Viceroy Abu Dhabi on yas island have what sounds like a really nice four course dinner for AED395 per person in their restaurant that's next to the marina. It's a lovely romantic setting

Get this weeks Time Out, there was an ad in last weeks mentioning there is a special Valentines section in it. Think it comes out tomorrow? Any of the restaurants at Souq Qaryat Al Beri would be nice, looking out over the water, there's Abdel Wahab, Meat Co, Sho Cho, Noodle House, Ushna all nice and wont be OTT expensive. Afterwards you can get a golf buggy along to the Shangri La, I love having a drink in their lobby bar, Hanan, very glam and lovely - or Pearls and Caviar, golf buggy will take you there too (part of Shangri La just a separate building). St Regis on Saadiyat has Turquoiz seafood restaurant right down at the beach, or Sontaya, Thai restaurant, both lovely settings but would be a bit more pricey. Theres a bar in Turquoiz and another in the main hotel, Turquoiz a bit nicer for a romantic drink! Beach House at Park Hyatt on Saadiyat is also lovely, right at the beach and has a rooftop bar which is really nice. Think Jumeirah Etihad Towers are also doing some valentines special deals, I lost the flyer , but thats a beautiful hotel and a few different restaurants and bars there. Hope this helps a little! I think the hilton on the corniche are doing packages for valentines dinner, if I'm not mistaken there are 3 or 4 different options and venues, check out their website see if it tells you more info. Most of the hotels will have packages as valentines is a big thing out here (as strange as that sounds). Let me know how you get on :-) Laura x
