Has anyone had experience with this or knows anyone who has done it? The information available for healthcare providers is very confusing and is driving me insane :\:

Thank you! I have contacted DHCC, DHA, etc...it is in healthcare and it seems rather impossible with what I am offering to start anywhere in this country...I think further down the line, when there is a framework set up for this kind of an activity can I once again try...

I think the DED may be able to assist you as from the information you have given it seems as you are looking to form an onshore company. This is for companies that require physical offices/ space, employee visas etc. Other than this, I would advise you to also contact the Ministry of Health, as in case you are planning to offer services in the Health sector you will need to obtain a licence from them. I am specialised in this field so feel free to be in touch if you require more information or need assistance. (I am not trying to promote my services, just trying to help. :-) ). Good luck!

Hi skyfall, If you are looking at opening a Retail outlet along the Walk, you will need to contact the Emaar sales office - the same applies if you want to set up a stall outside the Marina Mall. I have the contact details of the girl I deal with but I'm not sure I am allowed to post it on the forum. If you want to set something within the towers, you can either approach a Commercial Property agent who should be able to let you know what spaces are available. Likewise you can drive around during a weekday and have a look at towers / spaces of interest. You can then speak to the Management company direct if to enquire about available sq.ft. in the building.....or another option is to approach a developer such as Select Group who have a considerable amount of commercial space (and a huge pipeline of availability in the developing Marina Gate development at the start of the Walk). Happy Searching!

Thanks for this, I have tried every Freezone in Dubai, sadly my business does not work in those restricted areas as it is very specific.

Hi Skyfall, Depending on what you are exactly intending to do, you can contact the DED (Department of Economic Development). This applies if you are planning to open a shop/ physical office etc. If you are looking for a more cost effective option there are several Freezones in Dubai and other Emirates. Note, that these only allow you to have an office in the dedicated Freezones and the number of Visas are limited depending which package you would go for. I hope this helps! Feel free to be in touch if you have any further questions.
