Hi there!

I have been using Mario Badescu's face stuff for the past few years and really love it...however I have now run out...nobody from the U.S. is coming to visit anytime soon and I am not planning on going this summer either. I can have it shipped but thought before spending so much in shipping I would ask what products you ladies are using that can be found here that you love.

I need a line that will address acne and anti-aging!

TIA!!

NewbieDoha...sounds like we have very similar skin!! I have found that with a lot of places here....the sales ladies just aren't familiar with the products and that is very frustrating! Like Rachel said...same thing at Sephora! Okay I'll take a look at the Shiseido products....thanks so much for the recommendation!!

Shiseido! I've been using it for the past 10+ years and STILL happy with the result. I tried to switch to other brands like Dior, Lancome etc. - just out of curiosity/boredom - and nothing comes close. I use the foam wash, serum, eye cream, day cream & night cream, purifying mask (AMAZING). Everything! One thing though, I noticed here that some of the sales ladies here don't know the products very well. I recommend checking the products online to find the line that suits you best and then go to the store and buy it. Btw, I have aging, acne prone AND sensitive skin. Good Luck!

I can also confirm that Aramex & DHL won't ship any creams or liquids :( Fortunately my DH is off to Dxb on Tues so I've given him a list for Duty Free! BTW. Even though I'm on the wrong side of 45, I still get spots & find Clinique products suit me best. edited by kimmc on 06/03/2011 Ugh trying to type one-handed with a choc donut in the other hand does not work.... edited by kimmc on 06/03/2011

ccdoha, it's true. Liquids (including shampoo and cosmetics) are on Aramex's banned list. I tried to have my favorite shampoo shipped here, and I was told by both FedEx and Aramex that they couldn't do that because of Qatari regulations.

sorry to hijack but sort of relevant WHAT?!?!?! They won't ship liquids?? Are you POSITIVE, I just opened an account for the same reason as OP to get Aveda products shipped here.

Careful with the shipping. I know that Aramex for example won't ship in liquids or cosmetics, so I've avoided ordering any beauty or skin care products. Not sure about shipping through other means. Too bad the staff at Sephora here are so useless. At home I find they can really provide guidance to products that suit individual skin types.
