Where can I get party supplies like birthday invites, plates, goody bag stuff here in Doha?
I have heard of Party Kingdom-but dont know where that is? Can someone explain where it is?And any other stores that carry supplies?

I would suggest making a trip to Rawnaq first as you will find interesting things for the loot bags. I was unable to find plates, ballons etc last week as they were out of stock but maybe its changed now. Have a look at Lulu/FFC as I found those the most reasonably priced for themed birthday plates, cups etc. I then topped up with things from Toys R Us. Also went to Party Kingdom but personally the prices are quite high; same stuff as the other stores but double the price. Oh yeah Giant in Hyatt also has excellent party supplies as I found out after I had bought everything so thats worth a trip too. Exhausted after DS's birthday party today...good luck!

To Party Kingdom: Come down Salwa Road - the Ramada part, not the Decoration r/a part. Head down (so Ramada is on your right, then pass The Center). After the Center go under the Jaidah flyover and take a left at the roundabout underneath. This is the road where Party Kindgom is, but it's on the left so you will have to make a u-turn at the next roundabout. Stay on your right, because that roundabout is above the underpass. U-turn at roundabout, then head back toward the roundabout under Jaidah flyover, and the parking lot where Party Kingdom is is BEFORE you get back to the Jaidah flyover. It's a small set of shops - Party Kingdom is on the right, and there's a QNB ATM in the middle of the parking lot. Hope this helps!

For things to put in the goody bags, I would recommend going to one of the Al Rawnaq stores. You can also get balloons and some decorations there. For invites -- I'd probably just go to Hallmark. I do remember seeing some there last year when I was looking for Thank You note cards. For the plates - I know that Carrefour has some of these types of things for birthday parties. Essentially this variety of stores means going to three different stores, but at least C-4 and Hallmark would be in the same mall.

Al Rawnaq, Al Rawnaq, Al Rawnaq!!! They will have the goodie bag stuff and, possibly,the goodie bags. There is an Al Rawnaq across the street from Al Ahli hospital. It is UNDERNEATH the KFC and bank that is there. Find a parking space (not too easy, best to go in the morning during the week) and then look for the Al Rawnaq sign on what looks like a Kiosk in the middle of the parking lot. Go in and take the escalators down. You can also find things at Diaso above the Home R Us at Hyatt Plaza. Invites, plates and silverware are a bit more hit or miss. I have found some at Kiddy Zone (Hyatt Plaza, Landmark, City Centre) but they are expensive. I ended up buying small napkins and small plates with designs on them and supplemented with larger, plain plates and napkins from C4 or LuLu.
